Congratulations to Julian Deline of Laguna Beach, for his superb skimming at Sandy's Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii at the Inaugural Contest of The Hawaiian Amateur Skimboarding League or "George Downing Hawaii Skim Slam".

This contest mixes international amateurs and pros in a three contest series to promote the sport of skimboarding in Hawaii. Eighteen year old amateur, Roush Skimboard Team Rider Julian Deline opened the event by placing 2nd in the first heat, including a 9.6 judged wave in that heat. He finished 1st in the second heat with a 9.2 highest overall judged wave of the heat.

The final found Julian finishing 4th overall in an extremely hard fought battle of amateur and pro skimmers from the Hawaiian Islands and Japan.

Way to Go Julian!!!
