Roush Creations is the proud sponsor of over twenty dedicated athletes and artists.

What does it mean to be a freesurfer? Free: a surfer who is not controlled by obligation or the will of another. Freesurfers are greatly encouraged to write the next creative chapters in the art of wave riding on their own terms without the chains of judgment. Joy, camaraderie, and new performance are the primary goals.

Surfing and skim boarding are not team sports. We work as a team to achieve common goals to push the limits of fun and performance of the boards and ourselves. “Advanced Waterboards” is a declared statement of a driven and constant commitment to maximizing innovation of all boards using every means available. The smallest, lightest, fastest, most responsive equipment imaginable is the end result.

Roush Creations supports its freesurfing club through providing full or partial sponsorships of equipment to riders who have displayed years worth of skill, drive, positive attitude, and passionate dedication to the sport of wave riding.

We recognize individuals who reflect the true spirit of surfing and push the creative imagination of expressing themselves with style, performance, and art, while test riding daring new equipment concepts. The riders themselves set their own goals, invent their own style, and choose their own path of either participating in professional competitions or being “freesurfers” who choose not to compete.

In addition to keeping the team flush with the latest in state of the art boards RC also tries to foster a sense of community amongst its riders. Eric Roush's relationship with his riders helps make RC boards the best that they can be.
